Admissions Arrangements 2026/2027

 

The Board of Directors of Lumen Christi Catholic Multi Academy has delegated authority for admissions to the School Standards Committee of St Peter’s Catholic Primary School. If you would like to apply for a place at our school outside of the normal admissions round (Reception), you will need to complete an application form.
 

In-Year Applications
An application should be made to the school by completing the in-year admissions application form which is available on Birmingham City Council website 

A hard copy of the application form can be obtained by contacting the school office at

At St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, we adhere to the School Admission Code and the Schools Admission Policy.


Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements for 2025/2026 will be applied.  The full admission arrangements can be accessed from    or by contacting the school office to request a hard copy.  Parents are advised to read the admission arrangements carefully before making their application.

 

If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list and further information relating to this will be included in the letter sent from the school advising you of the outcome of your application.  Please see the admission arrangements for more details.

 

You will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing as soon as possible.  Applicants must be informed of the outcome of their application within 15 school days of its receipt, but the aim is to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within 10 school days of its receipt.  You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful.

Parish Boundary

 

Starting in the north-west at the junction of the Bourne Brook with the M5 Motorway near Junction 3:

1. South-west along the M5 MOTORWAY to Frankley Green Road just west of Frankley Hill;
2. East along FRANKLEY GREEN ROAD and its continuations CHURCH HILL and FRANKLEY LANE to its end at the junction with Merritt's Hill and Genners Lane;
3. North along GENNERS LANE to its junction with Moors Lane (both sides, thus including those roads which have vehicular access only from Genners Lane);
4. Continuing north along MOORS LANE to its end on Cromwell Lane (both sides);
5. East and north along the SOUTHERN AND EASTERN BOUNDARY OF SENNELEYS PARK from a point immediately opposite Moors Lane to Overfield Road (thus including all the Park);
6. North-east along OVERFIELD ROAD to its end on Barnes Hill (both sides);
7. North along BARNES HILL to its end on Stonehouse Lane opposite the Link Road to West Boulevard;
8. Continuing north across Stonehouse Lane and along the LINK ROAD TO WEST BOULEVARD to its junction with the Bourne Brook;
9. West along the BOURNE BROOK to its junction with the M5 Motorway.

In-Year Applications

 

An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places.  An application should be made to the school by completing the in-year admissions application form which can be found here : https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/download/downloads/id/1426/application_for_a_change_of_school_in-year.pdf

Completed application forms must be and returned to Mrs Hyatt at St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, Adams Hill, Bartley Green, Birmingham B32 3QD.
