Year 6

Year 6 Parents' Meeting

Welcome to Year 6 2023-2024
 

Miss McDonagh (Class Teacher) and Miss Anderson (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) warmly welcomes all of Year 6 to their new and exciting final year at St Peter's.

This wonderful year is time of preparation in many different ways. In Year 6, we prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. This is a very special time because we work together to gather a deeper understanding of our faith. It is the time in our lives when we stand up to say 'Yes' to God's invitation to love and serve him. We consider, discuss and find out what it really means to be a follower of Christ in our world today.

 

Throughout the year we prepare for Secondary school. We know that we need to learn more about being independent and how to look after our world. To prepare for this we have lots of jobs and responsibilities around school and we know we have to set a good example to the younger pupils through our work and excellent behaviour.

 

Our Class Saints are

        Saint Chad                          St Martin de Porres

 

We will learn all about them and pray to them each day.
