Late/Absence Procedures
Late
Children can arrive to school between 8.40am and 8.50am. If you arrive after 9.00am, you will need to sign in with the Main Office. All parents will be asked for the reason for lateness which will be recorded by the school.
Absence
Please inform the school when your child is unable to attend. Please call the school (0121 464 6921) before 9.30am the first day of absence and again on the third day if your child is still unwell.
Follow this up with a written note on the day of the child's return.
All punctuality and attendance is monitored weekly to ensure that all children attend school on time for at least 95% of the time, the overall target for our school is 97%. If your child's attendance falls below 90% this is classed at persistent attendance and the school will contact you to discuss the matter.
