Welcome to St. Peter's Catholic Primary School thank you for considering us as your child's first school.  We understand what a huge decision choosing your child's school is. 
 

We have therefore set up this page on our website with you in mind and we hope it will give you a flavour of what life is like at St. Peter's and enable you to get a feel for our ethos, culture and learning style.

At St. Peter's, we pride ourselves on the quality of learning experiences and opportunities we provide for our children.
 

In EYFS we ensure that we build strong foundations for learning in all our children, enabling them to move forward successfully as learners as they move through the school. 

We focus heavily on the skills of being a learner, we discuss the value of making mistakes, we recognise that learning can at times be difficult and we celebrate the journey that we take whilst learning and not just the final outcome itself. 
 

We want our children to be curious, inquisitive and questioning of the world around them and therefore we provide learning opportunities that are based around challenge, investigation, first-hand experiences and practical learning.

Our Open Days for prospective new intake pupils for September 2024 will take place on Thursday 9th  November at 9:30am  and Wednesday 15th November at 5:00pm.
